A LITTLE LESS MENTAL MATH
It's a Wonderful World scoring, explained.
This free scorecard adds the standard scoring categories for It's a Wonderful World. Count completed cards and remaining characters in your Empire after the fourth round.
Printed VP + card bonuses + character points = total VP.
32 printed VP + 51 card-bonus VP + 27 General VP + 15 Financier VP = 125 VP.
Check the publisher's game page and official English rulebook (PDF) for complete rules.
How is my total calculated?
Total = printed victory points + card-type bonuses + General points + Financier points. Each card-type bonus is its completed-card count multiplied by the sum of its matching VP multipliers. Characters score one point each, plus any additional VP multipliers. Blank fields count as zero.
What goes in the card and bonus fields?
Count completed green (Science), black (Energy), yellow (Gold), and blue (Exploration) cards in your Empire, not resource cubes. Add together the matching victory-point multipliers on your cards and Empire card, then enter that sum in Bonus ×. Count only General and Financier tokens remaining in your Empire. Cards under construction and leftover Krystallium do not score.
Why do characters score with no bonus?
Each General and Financier is worth one victory point before bonuses. This calculator adds that base point automatically. For example, three Generals with a Bonus × of 2 score 3 × (1 + 2) = 9 VP. Do not include their base points again in Printed VP.
How are ties broken?
Compare the number of cards in the tied players' Empires first; the greater number wins. If still tied, compare Character tokens. If both counts tie, share the victory.
Does this handle expansions and solo ratings?
This is a single scorecard, not a multiplayer leaderboard or solo-rating tool. It covers the original calculator's standard scoring categories. Expansion-specific sets, bonuses, and scenario conditions are not evaluated automatically. Resolve those with your rulebook and add any resulting fixed VP adjustment to Printed VP. This unofficial tool does not replace the rules.
Where is my score saved?
Your current scorecard is saved locally in this browser, not on a server. It does not sync between devices. Clear score removes the current entries after confirmation. Clearing site data also removes the saved scorecard. If storage is unavailable, a notice explains that your entries will only last until you leave or reload the page.
